i hope

One day I hope we know what it means to live. I hope we go beyond the survival mode so many of us have adopted and learn that taking risks, feeling pain, deep bursts of laughter, are a part of true life. I hope that we go to the stars and know that everything’s going to be alright. I hope that life becomes more than time and feeling becomes more than guilt. I hope that food becomes memories and connection. That rituals become traditions. That darkness becomes light. I hope that we make a world we want to live in. I hope you feel loved. Safe. Worthy. Happy. I hope we learn to live.
